The purpose of this text is to support prior classroom teaching, and to assist students in demonstrating their understanding of the media and its workings in order to meet Media Studies Level 2 Achievement Standards. The text works through each of the Achievement Standards and highlights areas for particular attention and thus prepares students for summative assessment in Media Studies. It advances from a basis of questions that every media student should be asking of any text studied.
